meet the founder Meagan Quinn Macklin

Working hard to correct muscular issues for people since 2006, whether through deep-tissue bodywork, targeted stretching & strengthening or Pilates, Meagan seeks to create an improvement to your quality of life. Her fondness for anatomy (Beginning In art school in the late 90's) and a love of teaching discovered while living abroad has morphed into her unique approach to helping each client find their individual muscular comfort and health through exercise, various manual therapies and stretching. She has worked with professional athletes including Eagles, 76ers, the PA Ballet, professionals in training for the olympics as well as office workers, health care personnel, retired seniors and everything in between. Meagan has EDS and enjoys adapting to every clients' specific goals and needs, just as she has had to adapt exercise and fitness for her joint issues. She has 2 fabulous children, Ulysses and Catherine, is very fond of her dog and lives with all 3 creatures in West Philadelphia. Meagan Also Fabricates creatures, Sculptures & art and enjoys being active in her community.

It's hard to be symmetrical as we move through life in our bodies that record each nuance of movement in our fascia. Years of crossing the same leg, sleeping in the same position, tilting our head as we type or text, it all adds up. Unfortunately small problems don't get any better as we age and can develop into larger imbalances without being pro-active. Counteracting these habits that reflect in our bodies takes movement and conscious opposition to achieve better musculo-skeletal health. By using evidence based modalities and Pilates core principals, I hope to help counteract pain that is the result of these myofascial records of our muscular habits
